Dr. Michael E. Kellam, DMD

Dr. Michael E Kellam is an Oral Surgery Specialist in Saraland, Alabama. Surgical staff

The members of the surgical staff at the offices of Michael E. Kellam, D.M.D., P.C. are experienced, certified oral and maxillofacial surgical assistants, who assist in administration of IV sedation and surgery. We also have a trained registered nurse (RN) to assist in surgery along with paramedics. All staff are informed administrative personnel, well-versed in health and insurance policies, and are CPR certified.

Sarah works as an Oral Surgical Assistant.
She earned her credentials at Coastal Alabama. You will always see Sarah with a big smile on face and showing kindness to each patient she sees. When Sarah is out of the office, she enjoys ninja warrior training, traveling the world on mission trips, and spending time with family.

Alex is an accomplished Oral Surgical Assistant with over 11 years of experience in chairside assisting and patient care. Outside of the office, Alex’s life is centered around her faith and family. She cherises time with her church family and values creating memories with her husband, their two young boys, and their black labrador retriever, Moonpie. Whether through fishing trips or exploring local parks, she cherishes every moment spent together.

Kayla is an Oral Surgery Assistant who loves spending time with her boyfriend, dog and 2 cats. She loves being on the boat, fishing and hunting (when she’s not too cold). She has worked with Dr. Kellam for 2 years and has absolutely loved Oral Surgery. She “works” for her boyfriend’s family on the weekends supervising everything being done.

OFFICE STAFF

Amber brings two major things to our practice: a remarkably kind heart and an extra foot of height on the rest of the staff. As our resident giant and dental receptionist, she is the friendly face (and elevated perspective) that greets you when you check in. Outside our office, Amber is an outdoor enthusiast who loves getting lost in a novel, spending quality time with her boyfriend, and constantly buying new sneakers. Why new sneakers? Because her dog, Copper, firmly believes that shoelaces are an excellent plaque removing chew toy. On the weekends, you’ll likely find her on the water fishing. She loves the sport because it surprisingly similar to her day job: it requires patience, a gentle    touch, and reeling in jaws without getting bitten!

Haleigh is the Billing Coordinator and resident insurance problem-solver. She spends her days decoding EOBs, handling patient accounts, and fighting insurance companies with the patience of a saint and the determination of someone who has already had too much caffeine. Known for her organization, attention to detail, and ability to keep the office running smoothly. Outside of work, Haleigh is a wife, softball mom, dog mom, chauffeur, snack provider, and professional finder of lost things— usually while they’re standing right next to the item.. She enjoys spending time with her husband of 15 years, her daughter Ella, and their dog Tucker. When she’s not at the office, you can usually find her at a softball field somewhere, out on the water fishing, reading a good book, or enjoying time with her family.
